Although nearly 80% of the population in Croatia have been connected to cca 130 public water-supply systems, which purify and distribute drinking water and other users’ needs, many of those conditioning arrangements need to be reconstructed or renewed because of an even greater water resources pollution.
The situation is even more serious in the public sewage system to which only 40 % of Croatian population have been connected. Another issue is that only less than a half of the collected wastewaters have been purified by approximately 100 arrangements, up to various purification levels, which continuously pollutes recipients, especially drinking water resources, sea and rivers.
Separate waste-water system building and not combined ones, just like waste-water purification in small places and tourist complexes is a new tendency hence technology and arrangement are being adjusted to separate communal, industrial and rainwater purification.

The main purpose of this professional-business meeting is to expose through essays, professional expositions and presentations of professors the best technologies and arrangements, recognized both at home and world wide including the best and the most simple ecological solution, high purification level and the minimum of building, department and observation expenses and to meet European standards, directions and EU directions and our legal rules.
